Vanessa Research, Inc. (VRI) is an emerging healthcare and biotech company. As part of the UConn TIP program, VRI is developing a non-surgical medical device, HaloGard™ that aims to treat cervical insufficiency in women in the second trimester of their pregnancies. VRI’s HaloGard™ technology works to keep the cervix safely closed in order to increase the probability of having a healthy, full-term delivery.
